What We Know About Apollo
Hi, I'm Apollo! I'm about 2 years old and weigh roughly 76 pounds.
I'm eligible for Greenhill's Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.
Do you like...
Dogs? I have not shown to have the best doggy social skills. Staff can discuss this with you further!
Cats? I'm looking for a kitty-free home!
Kids? I would need to be around kids that can be respectful of me. 8+
Anything else you'd like us to know, Apollo? I'm a very fun, high energy guy who would LOVE an active family. If you enjoy hikes, going to the beach, and fun days at the river then I think I'm the guy for you! I love being with people and have a blast playing tug and ball. Toys and treats and definitely the way to my heart!
I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.
It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!
ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.
This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.
