What We Know About Fuchsia
Hi, I'm Fuchsia! I'm about 2 years old and weigh 58 pounds.
I am currently in foster care. Please contact Canine Program staff if you would like to meet me!
I'm eligible for Greenhill's Foster-to-Adopt Program! Through this program, you can foster me to see if we are a good match before committing to an adoption. Canine program staff can tell you more and you can learn more about this program here: www.green-hill.org/foster-to-adopt.
** I'm a volunteer favorite and here's why:
"I love her because she is so nice and she is a good walker. And she has the cutest, excited wiggle dance."
"Fuchsia is such a sweet and loving girl. She can be shy at first but, one she warms up, she is a giant lovebug."
"They're calling her the biggest lovebug of all time."
"Once again, they're calling her the biggest lovebug of all time."
"Fuchsia is so smart and sweet. She does all commands eagerly then just chills on her side to be pet and cuddled." **

Dogs? I came into the shelter with a canine pal, however, I had a poor experience with a smaller dog in my previous home. Staff can discuss this with you further. I may be able to live with a similarly sized dog.
Cats? My history is a mystery. I have a lot of energy and may be too much for kitties.
Kids? I'd like to start out meeting older kiddos who can be respectful of my space as we get to know each other. (8+)
Anything else you'd like us to know, Fuchsia? I am a super sweet lady who has so much zest for life! I love fetch and to be rewarded with affection and cuddles!
I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.
It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.
My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!
ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.
