What We Know About Bruin
Hello, I'm Bruin! I'm about 1 year old and weigh 46 pounds. I have a medical release that staff will discuss with you further.

I originally entered the shelter after a good samaritan saw me on the street struggling to walk or move. They brought me here where staff discovered that my neck was swollen to the size of a dinner plate! The vet suspects I swallowed a wasp or spider, and my swelling turned into a large abscess. I've received extensive medical care the last month, and am now in tip top shape! I'm super playful, silly, active, and snuggly! I love cheese, squeaky toys, and playing tug of war. I can't wait to find my forever home!

Do you like...

Dogs? I haven't shown to have great dog social skills. I've done well with tolerant, friendly female dogs. Please bring all dogs in the home to meet.

Cats? I'm a very busy, boisterous young man. Slow, supervised introductions would be required to help set us up for success.

Kids? I'd like to live with kiddos old enough to help train me to be the best boy. 10+

I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.

It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.

My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!

ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.

This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.
